Now That I Have My Crystals, What Do I Do With Them?

There will be times when you need to purchase a crystal, and given the great abundance of healing stones now available, it can be useful to have a system for choosing your crystals. You do not need to know the exact properties of every stone in order to buy one, although this may help.

Below is a list of possible ways you could go about choosing a crystal. Remember, just because a crystal is beautiful, and the nicest one of a bunch, doesn’t mean that it is the best crystal for you. It is more important to be receptive and allow yourself to be drawn to a stone that will have meaning for you.

Often when you first see a range of crystals, one stone will catch your eye, and continue to draw your attention. This is likely to be a stone that will be beneficial to you. At this point you may like to trust your intuition and purchase the crystal.

However, if you are overwhelmed by choice, or are unsure of what crystal it was that first grabbed you, try standing quietly for a few moments with your eyes closed, and remember the reason that you needed to purchase a crystal. When you open your eyes choose the crystal you feel most drawn to. This will be the stone for you.

One of the suggested methods of buying a crystal requires that you look at a crystal and see if it “vibrates” with you. All crystals vibrate at their own frequency and some people are sensitive enough to feel these vibrations. Holding or placing your hand on a large piece of clear quartz crystal is a good way to develop your sensitivity to these vibrations. Sometimes a quartz may give off a regular pulse of energy; you may feel others as being very cold in your hand, or even warm. Some crystals may produce a tingling sensation on your skin. Generally a crystal that will be beneficial to you will feel right to you even though you may not be able to describe the sensations it creates. Look through a large number of them until you find just the right one. This works fine as long as you wide variety to select from.

This is a simple way to seek answers from your subconscious mind. You can hold a pendulum over the top of a crystal and ask “will this crystal be beneficial to me?”. Another way to use the pendulum, if you are considering a large choice of crystals, is to pass it over the top, and look for any circular motion in the pendulum above a particular crystal. If you do find the pendulum reacting over a particular stone, hold it over the stone directly, and ask a question.

Crystals given as a gift are a precious experience, and as you start to use crystals more, you may begin to find crystals, or rather, they find you! It is not uncommon for these crystals to be just what you need at that given moment. It is also not uncommon to lose crystals, and although this can be upsetting when your favourite goes missing, it is usually an indication that the crystal has served its purpose in that situation and is no longer required. This is particularly so with “Record Keepers” and “Window” crystals.

Another method to purchase a crystal is buying whatever crystal that is available to you. You may also get one as a gift. In either of these cases, you will be “bonding” with the crystal and that provides the “tuning” of the crystal to your “vibration”. So it isn’t all that critical that you find the “perfect” crystal when buying one.

crystal, crystals, vibrations, Native American, heal, yoga, meditation, guided meditation, 3rd eye, chakraWhen choosing a crystal from an internet site it is not possible to touch the crystal, so you need to take your intuition one stage further. Browse through the pictures and note which most appeals to you. You may find yourself excited by the picture of a particular crystal, with a powerful urge to touch and feel it and a sense of frustration that you cannot. If you feel that you very much want that crystal to be a part of your life, it is likely that on some level it has something to offer you.

Don’t worry. As with all purchases relating to spiritual growth intent is crucial, and you may need to acknowledge that the time isn’t right. If nothing strongly appeals to you, accept that the time is not right and come back on another day when perhaps a crystal will plead with you to take it home. Beware of buying crystals purely because that is what you set out to do as this could result in a collection of crystals unsuited to your needs and lacking meaning.

Expect the Unexpected – I often set out to buy a specific crystal and end up purchasing something completely different. Be prepared to have your unconscious lead you to a different crystal. The unconscious or higher self doesn?t get involved with life’s day-to-day clutter and thus can get straight down to the business of selecting the most appropriate crystal for you. This is why the best approach to choosing a crystal is to quieten your mind and simply do what feels right.

Clearing Your Crystals

Crystals can collect various forms of energy from emotions, thought, touch, and many other sources. When other people handle your crystal, they leave their energy imprint on the crystal. This isn’t “bad” however, in order to make your crystal truly yours, we suggest that you remove the stored vibration. This is known as clearing the crystal.

It is a good idea to clear your crystal when you first get it, after you use it for any healing work, or whenever you feel that the crystal lacks light, luster, and energy.

Sea Salt Method

(Please note: many feel this method is too harsh. They prefer some of the other, more gentle methods listed below.)

Bury the crystal in sea salt overnight, preferably in a ceramic or glass container. You can purchase sea salt in most health food stores and in some supermarkets. You may also put your crystal in a container of water and sea salt. Use your intuition to determine how much salt you need and how long you want to leave the crystal in the solution (usually one to three days). Wash all salt off the crystals after clearing them. (We recommend filtered water for this.)

crystal, crystals, vibrations, Native American, heal, yoga, meditation, guided meditation, 3rd eye, chakraA wonderful Native American method of clearing is to burn cedar and sage leaves and pass your crystal through the smoke. Cedar and sage may be purchased in most shops that specialize in herbs. You can also use a smudge stick, which combines cedar, sage, and often other herbs. This method is excellent for clearing your crystal as well as yourself and your environment. We prefer it for clearing jewelry.

Hold the crystal in your dominant hand, or if it is large, in both your hands. Focus your thoughts on the crystal with the intention that it will become free of all negative energy. As you hold this thought, inhale through your nose and exhale forcefully through your mouth. Your breath carries your intention to clear your crystal.

Remember to use your intuition to determine when your crystal needs clearing. Whenever you sense a decrease in its energy, a cloudiness or stickiness, it’s time to clear.

To charge a crystal is to revitalize it. Think of what kind of energy you want to store in your crystal. We have tried charging our crystals with many different energies.

Use your imagination and experiment by putting your crystal in direct sunlight or moonlight, on a large crystal cluster, under a pyramid, buried in the snow, or in the earth.

Working With Crystals: Passive Use of Crystal

Even if all you do with your crystal is keep it near you, you will begin to notice subtle changes in yourself. Crystals amplify and balance even the most subtle mental energy. Just having crystals in your environment can improve the quality of your life.

Active Use of Crystal

When we consciously work with crystal we can accomplish anything that the mind can imagine. Crystals have been helpful in improving memory, helping plants to grow, healing animals, contacting spirit guides, and in communicating with the animal, plant and mineral kingdoms.

One particularly powerful way to work with crystals is through the use of affirmations.

Affirmations are one of the most powerful methods we can use to change the quality of our lives and to create the things we want. An affirmation is a declaration or a thought which creates a desired result. To affirm means ñto make firm.” What we think or believe about ourselves and the world becomes our reality.

Pay attention to your affirmations, not only to avoid rote-like repetitions, but to actually hear what you’re saying. Joyce once realized that her affirmation, “I have an unlimited number of valuable ideas” had turned into “I have an unlimited number of limiting ideas.” This was a valuable, if depressing, discovery.

We have been giving ourselves affirmations all our lives – only we weren’t aware of it. Anything we say or think to ourselves is an affirmation. Anything anyone else says to us is an affirmation if we accept it and believe it. When we’re not aware of the process and the power of that which we think and believe about ourselves and our world we affirm a lot of things which don’t serve us well.

We are all carrying around basic core beliefs. Some of them are non-supportive things that we learned early in childhood from parents, teachers and friends.

Some unconscious affirmations:

If I look at food I gain weight

Life is nothing but suffering

The universe is against me

I am doomed to die without ever having been appreciated

Metaphysics works for everyone but me

Discovering Negative Beliefs

Becoming aware of these unconscious affirmations is the first step to dissolving them. Be conscious of your negative thoughts. One way to do this is to create a positive affirmations for example, “Abundance comes to me easily.” Your helpful mind will quickly come up with a list of reasons why this isn’t going to happen.

It never did before.

Some people aren’t meant to have money.

Why should I get my hopes up?

Another way is take the situation you want to change, and list the benefits of the negative situation. The benefits of not being prosperous might be:

No one will ever ask you for money.

You’ll never have to worry about suddenly losing your fortune.

You won’t have to feel guilty that others have less.

Whatever your issue is find out what its benefits are. Be careful not to censor yourself in the process, i.e., don’t tell yourself, “If I had a lot of money and someone needed help I’d be a terrible person not to give it to them.” Self-condemnation will not encourage your beliefs to surface; honesty will.

Work on each belief, identifying the emotion connected to it. Would you give money to people who needed it? Do you feel ungenerous? Are you afraid of acquiring money, only to lose it? Is this fear part of your life? Does guilt have a lot to do with how you relate to other people?

We strongly recommend the use of flower essences for deeply-held emotions.

The Three Aspects of Affirmations

When we consciously create affirmations we choose words which exactly express the reality we desire to create.

Another important aspect is the visual image we create to accompany the words. If we want to create a vacation in Hawaii we visualize palm trees, beaches, blue skies, warmth, etc. (It can be very helpful to look at the pictures in a travel brochure, and some people like to make a “wishboard” with an arrangement of photographs which represent whatever they’re creating).

A third (and perhaps most important) aspect is to create the way we feel when our special dream comes true. For a Hawaiian vacation you may feel relaxed or excited and stimulated to be in a new place. If you’re with someone you love you may feel increased closeness or a heightened sense of romance. If you have difficulty in visualizing or feeling the reality of your affirmation go back to the section on discovering negative beliefs.

Programming Your Crystal

Your thoughts, visualizations, and feelings have an energetic charge; when you program a crystal to assist you in manifesting your desires and dreams you put that energetic charge into your crystal.

Although quartz crystals are usually the preferred crystals for programming, we’ve used many others: citrine for abundance, rose quartz for a situation which calls for love, aquamarine or turquoise for creativity, aventurine for physical health.

Below is one method of programming.

Hold the crystal in both hands and gaze into it, making contact with the crystal.

Start breathing with deep long breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling forcefully through your mouth.

Concentrate on what you want to program into the crystal„ a new job, good health, a better relationship, etc. As you inhale, see a visual image of what you want; imagine how it feels to have it, and repeat an affirmation to yourself.

With each exhale send your desire into the crystal.

Your intention has now been programmed into the crystal. This vibration is stored in the crystal until you clear it and replace it with a new intention.

Written Affirmations

One of the most powerful methods of programming that we’ve discovered is to write your intention on a piece of paper and, after using the above method, place your crystal on the written note and leave it there. We did this when we were searching for the perfect spot for Crystal Gardens. We placed a programmed quartz cluster on a map of Greenwich Village along with a note requesting the size and rent we wanted. It worked!

Basic Meditation

We prefer to meditate with crystals and describe this further along in the article. For those who are unfamiliar with principles and practices of meditation, though, we provide a basic introduction.

Meditation gives us a chance to relax, and to heal our bodies. It provides periods of mental stillness, an opportunity to silence the mundane chatter which so often fills our minds, time and space for us to focus our thoughts, to concentrate on the solving of a problem, to visualize the accomplishment of a particular goal.

As we become more skilled at quieting our busy minds, we discover that meditation helps to focus our attention on the here and now. When we give ourselves the gift of time in which we are neither regretting the past nor worrying about the future, we are able to appreciate the present.

Seth, the entity channeled by the late Jane Roberts, often said that he had only one rule for changing one’s life. That was: The point of power is in the present. When we concentrate on the present, we experience our aliveness, the strength of the energy which flows through us. We learn to recognize that energy as power, the raw material with which we create ourselves and our worlds.

(Very) Active Meditation

Some forms of exercise, such as hatha yoga and tai chi ch’uan, which consist of particular patterns of movement, are recognized as forms of meditation. We believe that any form of physical activity can be meditational. The key is to be totally focused on what you’re doing.

When you’re exercising concentrate on the smooth, easy movement of your muscles, your breathing. If you swim, be aware of the feeling of the water. In hiking or walking, focus on the ground beneath your feet.

Sometimes, while swimming or walking, we silently repeat affirmations. To do this, repeat each affirmation three or more times, focusing on the instructions you’re giving your mind, visualizing that you are prosperous, or thin, or loved. We recommend physical exercise not only for its own meditative values, but because it discharges excess energy, the kind that creates worries and anxieties which can prevent us from being relaxed and at peace when we want to practice passive meditation.

(Not Very) Passive Meditation

Passive meditation generally involves sitting or lying down. Create a time during which you’ll be undisturbed. Take the phone off the hook. Go into a room where you’ll be alone. Create this as a special time for yourself.

You may want to start off with a guided meditation tape. This will help direct your mind into appropriate channels. You can also direct passive meditation by silently repeating affirmations. When you feel comfortable with these forms of meditation you can begin to guide your meditations.

We like to listen to meditation music (which can be any kind of music which makes you feel relaxed and calm) on a mp3-type device. This is especially helpful when garbage is being collected, fire engines are blaring, or strangers have entered your life by having a fight outside your window.

Concentrate on your breathing, following each inhale and exhale, feeling energy flowing from your feet to your head and back. Do this for as long as you can. If you find yourself wondering whether you’ve paid the rent, or thinking about what you’ll have to eat when you’re finished meditating, let those thoughts drift away.

It may help for you to imagine that you have a feather duster with which to brush them out of your mind. You’ll find that your ability to meditate improves with practice. In passive meditation, you’re developing psychic and mental muscles. As you learn to silence distracting thoughts, you’ll begin to receive messages from your intuitive mind: new ideas, creative solutions to problems.

You may want to ask specific questions of your intuitive mind. Don’t worry if the answer doesn’t come right away. It may occur to you a few minutes or a few days later.

Crystal Concentration

We have noticed that the quality of our meditations improved immeasurably when we started making crystals part of our meditation. Crystals help to focus our energy, and thus our thoughts. They raise our vibrations and energy level and help to turn our attention from everyday concerns to our greater purposes in being alive.

The simplest way to introduce crystals into your meditation is to hold a clear quartz in one or both of your hands. To receive light and energy, hold the quartz with point facing you. To project your wishes into the universe (as when you’re repeating affirmations), face the points away from you.

Chakra Balancing

crystal, crystals, vibrations, Native American, heal, yoga, meditation, guided meditation, 3rd eye, chakraFor stress reduction and overall energizing, place quartz points (they may be very small) at the base of the spine, just above the pubic bone, on the navel, heart, throat, 3rd eye (between the eyebrows), and at the top of your head.

These seven chakra points can be further activated by slowly rotating a quartz point over them. If you find that, despite your best efforts, you’re still worrying when you want to be meditating, place an amethyst on the third eye. If you’re feeling extremely depressed or spaced out, hold a smoky quartz. Before long you’ll discover that you intuitively know what stones you want to be with on a particular day.

We believe that your intuition will generally be opened if you begin the practice of daily meditation. It is a discipline, and there will be times when you’d rather read the newspaper or call a friend, or do anything in the world except meditate. Persevere. You’ll be glad you did.

Chakras, Color & Gemstones

There is no homogeneous system for classification of the chakras, either by body location or by color. We have found that the system used by Katrina Raphaell, author of Crystal Enlightenment, Crystal Healing and The Crystalline Transmission gives us the best results.

After working with crystals and the ideas presented in this article, you may notice that you are developing a new consciousness, a new belief system which stretches the limits in which you were living before. There is a new inner freedom in which anything becomes possible as long it is in harmony with your deep heart’s core. This is the gift crystals give us.

How Ancient Cultures Used Healing Crystals And Stones

“In a crystal we have clear evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is nontheless a living being”. This is a quote from his work “The Problem of Increasing Human Energy” by Nikola Tesla written in the year 1900. Crystals have long been thought to be alive and possess healing powers, and many ancient cultures took this to be just another fact of life.

Today, we understand that all things in the universe are forms of energy with their own vibration – including crystals.

Nikola Tesla declared this concept as the key to understanding the universe and proved how certain forms of energy can alter the vibrational resonance of other forms of energy. This concept is why healing crystals and stones are still used today to align, heal and alter the vibration of bodily cells, chakras, and the subtle bodies by holistic healers.

The ancients didn’t have access to the enlightening scientific information that we have today concerning the power of healing crystals. However, people around the world seemed to instinctively be drawn to these lovely gems and have a deeper understanding of their value and meaning in the greater scheme of the universe.

Popular Uses for Healing Crystals in Early Civilizations

Minerals, gems, and crystals have been used for millennia to enhance emotional, physical and spiritual balance. How the ancients knew, we may never know for sure, but these cultures certainly considered stones a major aspect of their existence.

Roman Culture: Talismans and amulets of crystal were typical amongst Romans. Most often, they were considered useful in enhancing health, attracting desirable things, and for providing protection in battle.

Ancient Egyptians: One of the biggest historical proponents of healing crystals, the Egyptians buried their dead with quartz upon the forehead. This was believed to help guide the departed safely into the afterlife. Pharaohs toted cylinders filled with quartz to balance the Ba and Ka energies of the body. Strongly associated with the Sky Goddess Isis, crushed Lapis Lazuli stones were most notably worn by ladies of royalty – like Cleopatra – upon the eyes to promote enlightenment and awareness. Dancers donned rubies in their navels to foster their sex appeal. Many wore crystals over the heart to attract love, and placed crystal-laden crowns upon their head to stimulate enlightenment and awaken the Third Eye.

Chinese Culture: Chinese medicine commonly incorporates the use of healing crystals – including crystal-tipped needles used in acupuncture and Pranic healing sessions. These traditions hail from nearly 5000 years of practice.

Ancient Greeks: Crushed hematite was often rubbed upon soldier’s bodies prior to entering battle with the idea that it made them invincible. Interestingly, the word ‘crystal’ is thought to derive from the Greek word ‘krustullos,’ – meaning ‘ice’ – and until the 1500’s many ancients believed stones like clear quartz crystals were eternal ice sent from the Heavens. The mythological story of Amethyst plays a vital role in the story of the God Dionysus and Goddess Diana, and the word is said to be the Greek translation of ‘sober’ or ‘not drunken’ – something Dionysus could have spent more time being.

Traditions in India: Aryuvedic medicine in India considers crystals valuable for healing emotional and metaphysical imbalances. The use of various healing crystals is documented within the pages of the Hindu Vedas, which also references each stone’s specific healing abilities. Sapphires are thought to bring astuteness, clarity and mental balance, and jasper is thought to bring harmony, sexual vitality, and balance base chakras.

Ancient Japanese Beliefs: Scrying was a common practice in early Japanese culture, and it is very similar to looking into a crystal ball as we see some psychics do today. Crystal quartz spheres were considered representative of the heart of a dragon and signified their power and wisdom.

What We Know Now About Healing Crystals

Concepts of electromagnetism as proven by James Clerk Maxwell and their interdependent nature along with the various breakthroughs in quantum theory have given us scientific evidence for what the ancients always knew. Because everything vibrates at certain frequencies, they have the ability shift and alter the frequencies of other objects or bodies when they occupy the same space.

Hence, a crystal – which vibrates at its own frequency oscillations – vibrates within our own energy field through the physical law of resonance and creates a larger vibrational field, affecting the nervous system and transmitting the information to the brain. In essence, these connecting vibrations can harmonize frequencies and stimulate biochemical shifts that affect physical health in a positive, healing way.

There currently is no scientific proof that crystals hold healing energy in them, but there are a lot of people around the world that say they “feel” the energy emanating from them when they hold them.

When you first get your crystals it's advised that you cleanse & clear them to get rid of any negativity or unwanted energy. There are many ways to do this, here are few examples; soaking, burying in the earth, washing in flowing water, bathing them in moonlight overnight (full-moon is best for this ), burning sage over them, etc.

This can also be done in a variety of ways. Popular methods include: placing them on a quartz cluster (as quartz amplifies the energy of any crystal it comes into contact with ) , activating by sound (for example, by striking a chime, or bell or by chanting ), placing them in direct sunlight; and using your thoughts to reprogram them with your specific intentions.

Charging crystals is similar to charging your psyche; follow the rules of affirmation. Focus on the effect you want, not the problem- accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative !

Use only positive terms in your intentions, so think "be well " rather than "don't be sick ".

For centuries many cultures have explored the power of crystals. their vibrations and energies are thought to help focus, transform, centre and grounding. It's believed they can help bring peace, harmony and balance one's environment, aid spiritual growth and self-transformation and that their healing properties can be used to treat a variety of ailments.

The key thing to remember is, don't choose your crystal, let it choose you! Ideally, aim for a variety of shapes and sizes. As your needs may change down the track, so may your collection.

The Legend of the Crystal Skulls
Alrighty… where to begin.

The other day I wrote an article about a new emerging technology… or perhaps, a re-emerging ancient technology which many pointed out to me upon posting the article. The article was about a new kind of Crystal Storage, moving nano-particles around inside a sheet of Clear Quartz Glass, which allowed for storage to last up to 300 Million+ years. That’s a big deal.

If you missed it, and want to dive in, you can read that article here. But today, we’ve got bigger fish to fry. Upon posting this previous post on facebook, the comments erupted in amazing speculation about the Crystal Skulls.

I like where everyone’s mind is at

The Crystal Skulls

You’ve heard the tales. The legend of the Crystal Skull is the tale of our Ancient Ancestors using Crystal Technology to store memories, understandings, and even pure Consciousness itself, in a Pure Quartz Crystal Skull. Every thousand years, for the past 13 thousand years, there have been stories that a new Crystal Skull was created by the indigenous descendants of the Atlanteans.

crystal_skull_close_up_lgI don’t know about my math, but that would mean that we are living in the time when the 13th Crystal Skull is emerging, and perhaps even has emerged.

Almost 2 years ago, a young boy I was parading across the country on a road trip with my compadre’s, we stumbled across a small metaphysical shop in Mount Shasta, and met a woman who claimed to own the 13th crystal skull. No joke.

The woman told us her incredible tales, and then we whisked away on further adventures, and to this day. I haven’t returned… What can I say? I’ve been incredibly busy, not to mention flat broke

What is particularly exciting however, is when we take this ancient ideas about crystals and memories, and combine them with our new technology that we as a species are now beginning to develop. The ability to read and write to data in a piece of Quartz Crystal! Imagine what we could do with that.

With that technology and some proper development (and of course, the right intentions) we can actually use our computer technology to open up the mind of the crystal skulls for the world to behold! We can unlock the mysteries of these crystal skulls, once and for all.

Some might argue the moral implications of such an endeavor. I understand that, In fact, i’m feeling it too as I write this. It’s a fear that says “Shouldn’t we be able to just connect with the Skulls through our minds, rather than our external technology?”

I get that, and as I write this i’m feeling that perhaps it doesn’t have to be one or the other, perhaps it can be both. With the right intentions, we can use technology for the good of all mankind. It doesn’t have to end up like iRobot or Terminator – We can balance our awareness and love in both the internal, and the external world.

Besides, a Crystal Skull is nothing more than an external technology too, isn’t it?

It may take some time, and it may take some effort, but I believe we can do it, and we are the ones to do it. That’s what the spirit centers are for, am I right?

What secrets and insights do you believe the Crystal Skulls hold? Post your thoughts below, and don’t forget to share this with your friends!

With love,

Chakras: An Unexpected Journey

Previously: Spirit grew to a level of spiritual mastery within its current dimensional realm. In this space, it experienced itself as everything, one and complete. It was time for the next stage in life and consciousness. Before it lay a great crystal white vortex, the only place Spirit had yet to explore. Spirit knew of its presence, it could see it right as clear as knowing… And yet, Spirit could not see the other side. It’s only option was to go into its own singularity at the center of its fractal cosmos.

Spirit, knowing everything there is to know and experience in its past reality, embarked through its own singularity and into the next world.

What lies beyond those crystal gates, it did not know. It was the beginning of the next

Upon entering the vortex, Spirit experiences what we today might know as a 90 degree turn, and birthing into a new reality. This cosmos is different than the last. It is brighter, and a large being is now holding Spirits new body in the middle of an expansive new environment. But in this moment, Spirit doesn’t comprehend any of that. It has one sole focus, to live.

chakraglowIn this new space, Spirit finds itself with a rather limited means of ability. It could wiggle various parts of its physical form, but nothing purposeful. Little does it know that at least for a while, it would be subject to the will of everything around it.

Cold! Everything was becoming cold! Spirits Root Chakra was all It could feel, and it needed to find some stability.

Safety levels dropping, All it can do at this point is make sound. Spirit cries out of the mouth of this physical body, making noises to call for help. Something is wrapped around it, some kind of fabric (something Spirit cannot yet comprehend)…. The temperature warms up, the freezing stops…

Spirits panic calms down… The cold has been vanquished, and survival has been achieved. The panic eases off, being gently replaced by the loving embrace of something…

*A flash of Orange*

seeingorangeUpon calming down and settling into this new reality in which it was just birthed: Spirit begins to attune itself to its various parts of its body. It feels its heart-beat, becomes familiar with it, knowing it from the moment it arrived in this reality, a remnant of what it learned in its last life.

But this time, it wasn’t the only thing Spirit felt. For another heartbeat was detected, in an outside form other than his. Another beat! How marvelous! Spirit expands its awareness to include this heartbeat, and with that opened up the Sacral Chakra. Experiencing first what it forever would know as Mother.

Spirit’s Sacral Chakra glowed and filled with the love radiating from Its Mother, and Spirits love back to her. Not long after that, it begins to understand feel the love from its Father as well. Knowing the two, in time Spirit would learn that in this lifetime, “It” was born as a boy.

*A flash of Yellow*

babycakesIn those early stages, he would come to know that for almost everything, he was dependent upon his mother and father for what he needed, and his only means of communicating with them was by means of odd noises to which his parents didn’t quite understand.

This was alright, because day by day, as Spirit watched his body grow, he was able to do more and more. Soon he was grabbing things, holding fingers and toys with what he was learning were called hands.

solarboomHis Solar Plexus boomed, he wanted to be able to do all of the things his parents could do, and more! He wanted to run around the house, he wanted to play with other young Spirits, and see what this world was all about!

And so, he did.

This was only the beginning for this little incarnation of God in a physical vessel. There was far more to experience that he wasn’t even aware existed yet… But it would only be a matter of time, before even greater doors were opened to him.

I hope you enjoyed this short story! If it didn’t make sense, check out this video here (which can also be found at the top of this page).

The funny thing is, you can flip the chakras upside down completely and do it the exact same way. There is a flow of energy that goes from the top down instead of the bottom up (they both meet in the middle). That one is just as important, and i’ll write about it in the future

Healing & Re-Energising your Chakras: Rebooting your Multidimensional Self

As humans we are an integral part of an interconnected multilayered reality. Our health, happiness and fortune is also invariably affected by and reflected upon these interconnected layers of reality. Our physical health and wellbeing, for instance, is affected by the imperceptible state of our energy field and body. So are our emotions, moods and mental health in general. These layers – the physical and the energetic are inter-penetrable and in confluence with each other although only the physical symptoms are apparent to our senses.

166227061_f1655ff9dc_zSince modern western Science bases importance on what is empirically observable by the senses (extended through instruments), the layers beyond the physical and observable have been discarded as non-Scientific or ‘metaphysical’. But it is precisely this that has led Scientific knowledge in a dark narrow alley of ‘material reductionism’. What this means is that in medicine, for example, we only see the root cause of a physical ailment according to the physical and chemical chain of cause and effect.

This is not so in the more holistic ancient Eastern thought where the health and wellbeing of humans are seen as intimately tied not only to the physical body but also to the balance of energies flowing within the body and from the outside world to the body. This is where the idea of Qi emerged in China (same with Prana in Hindu traditions and ‘Lung’ in Tibetan culture) – the vital force which flows through and around our physical state of being. According to these traditions, the physical and energetic layers of our bodies interface at seven main centres in our body known as chakras. A number of other energy lines or ‘meridians’ run from the centres to other parts of the body serving as conduits for the flow of this vital energy.

In Chinese medicine it has long been established that imbalances in these chakras manifest as various physical ailments and diseases which can be addressed by certain exercises (Qi Gong & Tai Qi) together with concoctions of herbs and roots aimed at realigning them for proper flow of Qi so as to restore vitality and wellbeing. These practices have become widely known and practised even in the west.

Yet what I would like to share are a few other less known methods to heal and energise the chakras. Doing any of these methods is simple to follow and incorporate in your daily routine. The effect is an overall reset to your health and wellbeing. You gain vitality, feel invigorated, maintain organ health and immunity from common diseases, gain mental clarity and boost your mood. The best proof is by trying these methods consistently for a week and see what happens. Once the effects become tangible you will get motivated to keep doing them consistently. It cannot be otherwise because the feeling is too good to be turned down.

Nine Breaths of Purification:

This is one of the simplest exercises but its power should not be underestimated. It comes from ancient Tibetan Yogic practices. I do these practices every morning and evening before I sleep but they can be carried out any time during the day. According to the Bon tradition of Tibet, the human body has three channels through which the ‘Prana’ or ‘Lung’ flow. The central channel rises straight through the centre of the body and widens slightly from the heart to its opening at the crown of the head. Then there are two side channels alongside the main channel which are the diameter of a pencil. They join the the main channel about four inches below the navel. They rise straight through the body to either side of the central channel, curve around under the skull, pass behind the eyes and open at the nostrils. The right and left channels are inverted according to gender.

The first three breaths: Traditionally, the thumb of the right hand presses the base of the ring finger and with the ring finger men close the right nostril and breathes in the left nostril (while women do this the other way closing the left nostril and inhaling through the right nostril). Then closing the left nostril and exhaling through the right nostril (women: close the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril). Do this alternation three times. You will also notice a curious fact that at any one time, one nostril is always more open than another and they alternate several times throughout the day. So if you do the same exercise sometime later you will find that while earlier you had one nostril more open than another, some time later it was the other way round and so on throughout the day. (According to the same ancient knowledge, this has to do with dreaming and lucid dream practice. Men should sleep on their right side while women on their left. If you are a man and wakes up from a bad dream, notice on which side you were sleeping. Chances are you were sleeping on your left side. The opposite is true for women).

The second three breaths: Do the same process as the first three breaths but alternating sides. Hence men should close the left nostril and breath in the right nostril, then closing the right nostril and exhaling through the left nostril. Women should do the inverse of this sequence. Do this three times.

The Third three breaths: The last three breaths are the same for both men and women. Sitting down and placing the left hand on top of the right hand, palms up, visualise breathing in green light as you inhale from both nostrils. Imagine the light moving down the side channels until they meet the central channel below the navel. As you exhale, visualise the breath moving up the central channel up to the head and leaving the crown together with all illnesses and energetic blockages as black smoke.

Chakra Healing Program:

Carol Tuttle is a Master Energy Therapist that specialises in chakra healing. In her top rated program she provides practical tools and techniques to energise and restore balance in the chakras. It is a structured training curriculum which offers loads of instructions about working with your chakras so as to unblock energy problems that might be keeping you back from health, abundance or living a fuller, meaningful life. Such techniques include meditation, Rapid eye technology (RET), visualisation, Emotional freedom techniques (EFT), breathing and others. See more here

Five Tibetan Rites:

These are also part of the ancient Tibetan Yogic practices but unlike the nine breaths of purification require a little bit more physical input. People who have been practising these Tibetan rites daily for some years attest to their power. Many even claim to have rejuvenation and longevity properties. See a video demonstration here.

Detoxifying the pineal gland (Third Eye):

There is a general consensus among masters and scholars in the field that one of the most important chakras – the brow chakra or third eye – is physically related to the pineal gland. The pineal gland is small cone shaped gland situated in the middle of our brain. It is responsible for visions, deep insights and is a gateway to higher dimensional knowledge. It is responsible for producing natural DMT in the body (most actively when foetus is forming and around time of death thus possibly indicating it has to do with the embodiment and disengagement of spirit or soul). DMT is the molecule also found in the sacred healing plant Ayahuasca, the ingestion of which produces visions and deep healing.

However the pineal gland is also negatively affected by the food and drinks we take. Most notorious is the fluoride and chlorine in tap water. Cleansing the pineal gland from toxins and heavy metal is popularly referred to as decalcifying the pineal gland (although I think it’s the wrong term). There are several paths to detox the gland. The most obvious and immediate is by stopping the intake of tap water that might contain these harmful chemicals. Eating more healthy, especially raw green organic food that was not treated by pesticides and other chemicals. Take a good daily dose of vitamin C. Adding Spirulina and Chlorella is extremely good at detoxifying the whole body in general, not least the pineal gland.

Other good food sources that should be included in the pineal gland detoxification are: Apple cider vinegar, ginger, lemon (putting ginger and lemon in your water is a very good detox and alkalising practice) and kelp.

As for dechlorination, Calcium thiosulphate is said to get rid of chlorine from the body (although I do not recommend unless you research the doses and procedure). A better solution is taking Bentonite clay (calcium bentonite) – about half a teaspoon with a full glass of water. Drink a lot of water after that so as to avoid the clay from absorbing too much water from your body and causing constipation.

What Everyone Needs To Know About Their Chakras

Each of the seven chakras are governed by spiritual laws, principles of consciousness that we can use to cultivate greater harmony, happiness, and well-being in our lives and in the world.

The First Center: The Root Chakra

The root chakra, known in Sanskrit as muladhara, is located at the base of the spine. It governs your most basic survival needs. When this chakra is clear and energy flows through it freely, we feel secure and confident that we can easily fulfill our needs. However, blockage in this area can cause us to feel anxious and worried.

The spiritual Law of Karma governs the first energy center. On the physical plane, every action you perform results in a corresponding reaction. To maximize the possibility that your actions generate evolutionary reactions, you can use your body as a choice determining instrument.

Consider the possibilities in front of you and listen to signals from your body. These sensations generating from the root chakra are either comfortable or uncomfortable. Your body evaluates every possible decision in terms of its likelihood to meet your needs for safety or increase the level of threat you experience. The first chakra, which connects you with the earth, provides essential information as to the potential nourishment or toxicity that is available to you as a result of the actions you are taking.

The Second Center: Creativity Chakra

The creativity chakra, called svadhishtana, is associated with creativity in all its expressions. Located in the area of your sexual organs, the energy of this center can be used for biological reproduction. When channeled into higher energy centers, it fuels the creative force that enables you to paint a beautiful picture, build a business, or create a life of love and abundance.

The Law of Least Effort is lively in the second chakra. When your vital energy is flowing through your center of creativity, you co-create your life. The solution to every problem is rarely on the level of the problem. Rather, it comes from a deeper domain of creativity. Creativity is the process of taking the same raw material and creating different contexts and relationships between the components.

For example, when a composer creates a new piece of music, he is using the same notes in a new relationship with one another other, resulting in the emergence of something that did not exist before. The second chakra utilizes the raw material of the root chakra to create the world anew each day.

The Third Center: Energy Chakra

The energy chakra, manipura, is localized in your solar plexus. It’s the seat of your power in the world. When this center is open and flowing, you are capable of translating your intentions and desires into manifestation. When it is blocked, you feel frustrated and ineffectual.

The Law of Intention and Desire governs the third chakra. The seeds of intentions and desires reside in your personal soul. Nourishing the seeds you wish to germinate with your attention will lead to their full expression. It is important to be clear about your intentions so you are not surprised when they bear fruit.

The process of manifesting your desires is to first bring them into consciousness, followed by expanding your awareness through meditation, and finally releasing your intentions and detaching from the outcome. You can control your actions, however you cannot control the fruit of your actions. Keep your life energy flowing freely through your third chakra and the light and heat of your intentions will radiate on the world.

The Fourth Center: Heart Chakra

The heart chakra represents the unifying energy of love and compassion. Known as anahata, it is located at the center of the chest. The heart chakra is dedicated to overcoming separation and division. When the heart center is blocked, there is a sense of alienation from others. When the heart center is open and flowing, you feel connected at a deep level to all beings in your life.

The Law of Giving and Receiving governs the heart chakra. Love can take many different forms at different stages of life. The love of child for her mother is different than a mother’s love for her child. A friend’s love is different than that of a passionate lover or the love of a student for his teacher. However so, the common thread in each of these expressions of love is the impulse to unify—to overcome separation. This is the nature of the heart.

Every act of giving is simultaneously an act of receiving. Each time you welcome a gift into your life, you are providing the opportunity for someone to give. Just as a healthy physical heart receives blood from the periphery which it then oxygenates and pumps back out, your emotional heart stays healthy by receiving and giving love in all its forms.

The Fifth Center: Expression Chakra

The throat chakra, called visshuddha in Sanskrit, is the center of expression. When the fifth chakra is open and flowing, you have the confidence that you are capable of communicating your needs. When the fifth chakra is obstructed, a person will often feel that they are not being heard. In order to feel alive and empowered, it’s important that this energy center is clear. Blockages in this area are often associated with thyroid problems or chronic neck pain.

The Law of Detachment governs the throat chakra. An open fifth chakra enables you to express your truth without concern for censors or critics. This does not mean you say things that are intentionally hurtful or insensitive. On the contrary, people with open centers of communication are skillful in expressing their needs in ways that are life supporting. Anxiety over how people will react to your views does not arise when energy is flowing freely through the chakra of expression.

The Law of Detachment reminds you that you can choose your words and actions, but you cannot control the response to your words and action. When your intentions are clear, and your heart is open, you will spontaneously demonstrate right speech trusting that the universe will handle the details.

The Sixth Center: Intuition Chakra

The intuition chakra, known in Sanskrit as ajna, is located in the forehead. It is the center of insight and intuition. When this center is open, you have a deep sense of connection to your inner voice, and feel guided in your choices. When blocked, there is a sense of self-doubt and distrust. The opening of this chakra is usually associated with a clear sense of connection to ones dharma, or purpose in life.

The Law of Dharma or Cause and Effect governs the sixth chakra. You have within you a wise voice guiding you to express the highest aspects of your nature. Listen to this still inner voice, which is guiding you to manifest your full potential. Quiet the internal turbulence that is filled with the voices of others so you can identify the sound of your own soul. It has only one desire—for you to remember your essential nature as a spark of the divine.

The Seventh Center: Consciousness Chakra

The consciousness chakra, known as dahaswara, is visualized as a lotus flower at the crown of the head. When the lotus unfolds its petals, the memory of wholeness is restored. Remember that your essential nature is unbounded, and that you are spirit in disguise as a person. This is the full expression of yoga – the unification of being with action, of universality with individuality.

The Law of Pure Potentiality governs the seventh chakra. When your roots are receiving nourishment from the earth in the first chakra, your creative juices are flowing in the second, your intentions are empowered in the third, your heart is open and exchanging love with those around you in the fourth, you are spontaneously expressing your highest self in the fifth, you are in touch with your inner voice in the sixth, only then, does energy move into the crown chakra and you remember your essential nature as infinite and unbounded. The thousand-petaled lotus flower unfolds and you know yourself as a spiritual being temporarily localized to a body and mind.

The Yoga of Meditation The Upanishads tell us, “As great as the infinite space beyond is the space within the lotus of the heart.” From the time of your birth, you have been called to explore the world outside of you. Meditation is the exploration of your inner world. Yoga encourages you to be as familiar with your inner world of thoughts, feelings, memories, desires, and imagination as you are with the outer world. When you can move through both the inner and outer domains of life with freedom and joy, you fulfill the highest purpose of yoga.

The 13 Crystal Skulls Mystery

One of archaeology’s most compelling mysteries is that of the 13 Crystal Skulls. Skulls have been one of the most powerful objects of symbolism in human history, all over the world. Several “perfect” crystal Skulls have been found in parts of Mexico, Central and South America. Together, they form a mystery as enigmatic as the Nazca Lines, the Great Pyramids and Stonehenge.

These skulls are believed to be between 5000 and 35000 years old. During early expeditions, archaeologists were told by locals that the skulls possessed magical powers and healing properties. However, people were unsure as to where they came from, or even why they existed. Some like to believe that these were remains from the lost civilization of Atlantis. Others like to believe these are fakes.

And yet another group of psychics believe that these skulls have the capability to enable us to look into the past, present and future. Why would so much work and time be spent on perfecting a human skull made out of one of the hardest substances known to man after diamonds, rock crystal? The cutting of which requires great expertise and precision and the carving and polishing of which is equally time-consuming? In other words, why a skull? Some scientists and sceptics say about these skulls is that they were probably made in the 1800s, as the tools used or required to do such work were not available to the civilisations of the past.

Historians and social anthropologists decided to find out more about the strange skulls. Very soon, they came across an ancient Indian legend saying that there had been thirteen crystal skulls of the Goddess of Death; they had been kept separately from each other under the strict control of pagan priests and special warriors.

Searches for more skulls started; some of them were found in museums and some in private collections not only in the USA, but in Mexico, Brazil, France, Mongolia, and in Tibet. There were more than 13 skulls found. However, not all of them were as perfect as Mitchell-Hedges- was. Very likely, those were just later attempts to create something similar to the original skulls that were believed to have been gifts by God to the people.

The very construction and make of the skulls defies common logic. There are several crystal skulls in existence today around the world. They are :

The Mitchell – Hedges Skull

Perhaps the most famous crystal skull in the world today is the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull, named after a real-life “Indiana Jones” of the 20th Century, British explorer and adventurer F. A. Mitchell-Hedges. The most distinguishable characteristic of this crystal skull is its extraordinary clarity and its detachable jaw, carved from the same piece of quartz as the rest of the skull. This crystal skull was originally called the “Skull of Dunn” after an associate on one of the expeditions to Lubaantun (Belize).

British Crystal Skull and Paris Crystal Skull

They are said to have been bought in the 1890’s by mercenaries in Mexico. One is at the London’s Museum of Mankind and the other is at the Trocadero Museum of Paris.

Crystals are among the most undeniably beautiful results of the Universe's natural process. Forming over thousands of years inside our planet, these minerals hold the resonance of the Earth itself. Their range of colors, shapes and sizes make them one of the most diverse natural formations our species has come to revere, but why are we so naturally drawn toward their otherworldly beauty? For centuries mankind has sought crystals as a means of decoration, status and symbol, but mystics have long held a deeper understanding of how crystals may be used. By meditating or otherwise connecting with a crystal in an altered state of consciousness, mystics were given intuitive insight about how certain crystals may be used to heal, protect and influence change in one's life. When selecting a crystal for yourself there are a number of options to take into account. Is the crystal to be worn as an amulet or pendant? Will it serve to decorate a bedroom or place of work?

Or is the crystal meant to be placed in a sacred place in nature for plant medicine ceremony? Many use crystals to help manifest spiritual growth. There are many sources available that classify the ancient mystic properties of a given crystal and how they can affect the energy around them. Below will be listed some of the most common uses for a gemstone newcomer as well as a useful system to aid the process of selection.Basic Crystal Properties

How To Choose A Crystal

It is important to be open and receptive to the subtle energies that crystals emit. Maintaining a positive intention when perusing the many crystal properties will help draw you toward a stone that will aid you best. Locating a crystal or metaphysical shop in your area is preferred to internet buying so that you may interact with a wide variety of options before making your decision. However, many sites offer unique crystals with detailed images and descriptions of their origins.

When first approaching a collection of crystals, a certain stone may call your attention. This is a great starting place for selecting your first gem. It is sometimes hard to imagine, but in regards to crystals what our intuition is naturally drawn toward is often what may benefit us most. Reflecting on the purpose the crystal will serve will help to make your decision easier. If it is meant to be placed in a room, a larger crystal will be ideal as it's energy will need to fill more space. Healing the Seven Chakras with Herbs

Plants have been used as medicines for thousands of years to cure various ailments, gain wisdom and to help us connect with nature. There are scripts from 2500 BC about various plants and their healing properties. In India, there are several Vedas that mention about treating diseases using herbs and plants.

Plants have vibrational frequency that is in tune with our body and psyche. These vibrational qualities of plants can assist in balancing, healing and energizing the seven major chakras. The components of herbs interact with our energy system and remove toxic elements from our blood, enhance blood circulation and regulate the flow of oxygen.

If one uses the herbs appropriately, one can maintain a balanced state of mind, body and spirit, Here are some of the common herbs associated with the seven chakras –

First Chakra – Root

Dandelion roots

Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine. It connects us to the earth because that is where we receive all of the vital nutrients essential to our survival, and it is also where body toxins are released. The root chakra doesn’t just ground us physically, it also grounds us temporally by keeping us in the present moment.

An imbalanced root chakra can lead to problems in the legs, feet, rectum, tailbone, immune system, depression, autoimmune deficiencies. Dandelion root tea are found to be highly effective in the treatment of depression, gallbladder or high blood pressure. Adding in foods like: carrots, potatoes, parsnips, radishes, onions and garlic, and anything else that roots itself, can have a soothing effect for our root chakra.

Second Chakra – Sacral

Gardenia flowers

Sacral Chakra is located below the navel near the abdomen between the ovaries for women and near the prostate gland for men. The fundamental quality of this chakra is pure creativity, attention, sensual expression, unencumbered by the ego.

When this Chakra is blocked it can lead to eating disorders, urinary tract problems, reproductive disorders, occasional headache, fever and emotional imbalances.

Calendula is an easy to grow herb that enhances your creativity in all areas of life. Another herb which is highly beneficial for the sacral chakra is Gardenia. One can put Gardenia roots and oil to multiple use, and its flowers are found to be very soothing for the senses as well, no wonder its also known as the happiness herb.

Sandalwood helps in curing many kinds of infection as it instigates new cell growth. You can apply sandalwood oil on your body before taking a shower or you can use it to create a good aroma in your house.

Other herbs & spices that are beneficial are Coriander, fennel, licorice, cinnamon, vanilla, carob, sweet paprika, sesame seeds, caraway seeds.

Third Chakra – Solar Plexus

Fresh Rosemary leaves

Rosemary leaves

The 3rd chakra or the solar plexus chakra is the power centre of emotions and positive self control. If this chakra is blocked we tend to feel unworthy and have a low self-esteem. Our emotional state is one of depression and anxiety. We tend to be doubtful and mistrusting toward others. This can lead to a plethora of physical problems: poor digestion, ulcers, diabetes, liver or kidney problems, anorexia, bulimia, and even intestinal tumors.

To unblock the energy flow, one can use lavender, bergamot or rosemary oil. Bergamot is great for the digestive system as it quickens the procedure of digestion causing less strain to the intestinal tract. In Mediterranean region, people consider rosemary as an essential herb for the stomach and intestines. One can put rosemary leaves in several dishes or you can use rosemary oil to cook dishes. Marshmallow too relaxes the third chakra and softens our efforts to control life.

It helps you to relax your diaphragm and reconnect to our breath.

Other useful herbs & spices are Anise, celery, cinnamon, lily of the valley, mints, ginger, mints (peppermint, spearmint, etc.), melissa, turmeric, cumin, fennel.

Fourth Chakra – Heart

Hawthorne berries

Heart Chakra is the centre of love, compassion and forgiveness of our body’s energy system. When this chakra is blocked, we tend to feel disconnected and have trouble loving ourselves and others. We tend to experience poor circulation on the physical level, lack empathy on the emotional level, and lack devotion on the spiritual level.

Many issues of love, grief, hatred, anger, jealousy, fears of betrayal, of loneliness, as well as the ability to heal ourselves and others are centered in the fourth chakra. A tea or tincture of Hawthorne berries increases trust in the process of life and encourages you to feel safe following your heart. It also helps to strengthen the heart and blood vessels. You can also use

Cayenne, jasmine, lavender, marjoram, rose, basil, sage, thyme, cilantro, parsley for a healthy heart.

Fifth Chakra – Throat

Red Clover Blossom

Throat chakra is largely responsible for self-expression and communication. When this chakra is clear our speech becomes uplifting, wise and we can communicate our intent clearly. An unbalanced throat chakra leads to thyroid problems, laryngitis on the physical level, codependency on the emotional level, unclear thoughts on the mental level, and insecurity on the spiritual level. We often speak without thinking and have trouble expressing ourselves in an authentic way. It is also responsible for nervousness, fear and anxiety.

Red clover blossoms assist in allowing a free flow of communication and self-expression. A cup of red clover tea can unlock the emotions and thoughts that are waiting to be spoken. A research conducted by the University of Maryland, Medical Centre shows that lemon balm is capable of healing several ailments including thyroid. Eucalyptus oil is another beneficial oil for decongestion, simply rubbing few drops of oil on the throat will help.

Other herbs & spices that can help with the throat chakra is Coltsfoot, peppermint, sage, salt and lemon grass.

Sixth Chakra – Third Eye

Sixth Chakra or the Third Eye is associated with intuition and the pineal gland.

When this chakra is blocked we tend to lack in imagination and intuition resulting in poor decision making and self-deception. Physically, third eye weakness may manifest as eye/ear problems, headaches, migraines, insomnia, or even nightmares.

Mint, jasmine and eyebright are herbs used to open the sixth chakra. Eyebright helps to see both the light and dark sides as part of the whole, and is also used to cure eye problems. Mint has been found useful in curing depression, migraines and memory loss. It also increases connectedness between mind and body.

These are the herbs & spices that can energize and heal any imbalances in the third eye chakra, Juniper, mugwort, poppy, rosemary, lavender and poppy seed.

Seventh Chakra – Crown

lotus crown chakra

Crown Chakra connects us to the universal divine energy. This chakra is associated with wisdom, enlightenment and transcendence.

When our crown chakra is cleansed and open we experience divine union and cosmic love, stretching out forever. Our unique frequency is in tune with the cosmic orchestra. When our crown chakra is blocked or closed we feel disconnected spiritually, as though we are living without any direction or purpose. On a physical level, it can lead to depression, nervous system disorders, migraines, amnesia, ADD, dyslexia, and in the most extreme cases cognitive delusions and mental illness.

Lavender flowers and lotus assist in opening your seventh chakra. Lavender brings you into alignment with divine wisdom on a daily basis and is a popular herb for enhancing meditation. While lotus leaves and stems are widely used in Japanese and Chinese cuisine, and each part has its own set of benefits. Lavender is your best bet because it works well on all the chakras.

You can include plants in your life through taking herbs internally in the form of tea, or externally as a bath or aromatherapy, you can enhance the benefits by consciously connecting with their vibrational qualities

The bottom three chakras deal with your physical life. If the majority of your spirit (or energy) is being released from below the waist into the physical world, you are more likely to be affected by what is happening in the mass consciousness, to the virus's etc. The outside world will have control over you, and affect the way you are feeling. For every choice, every single thought, attitude, releases your spirit into the experience of the physical matter.

Within our energy fields the mental body has absolutely no power in the real world, meaning one of the reasons people don't heal. This is all talk and no action. Whereas the emotional body is always trying to tell the truth, but you do not want to hear it. Why? Because the moment you feel something, you have to do something about it.We will give you the tools to be more aware of what the emotional body is trying to tell you, and then take action.

1st CHAKRA - Base of spine, colour red:

Tribal chakra, attached to the electrical current of the country that you were born into. Tribal relations, struggle between yourself and your family and tribal influence, having your tribe appreciate you. Your religion, politics and nationalism. Feelings unfounded, when ideas never manifest. It means that not enough of electrical currents of the rest of your energy system are reaching the bottom chakra. If you are losing power from the base chakra, all others are affected. If you have an idea, have the discipline to stick at it, break the pattern of releasing your power, the delusion of that the vision has to be big enough.

2nd CHAKRA - Just above the pubic bone, colour orange:

Part of the body that controls sexuality, money and need for physical power in this world. Anyone that manipulates you is pulling energy from this area, or are you manipulating them? Control issues?

Economical issues? Are you afraid that your needs won't be met! So you find yourself manipulating certain people, to protect yourself. That means part of your spirit is now under orders to leave your cell tissues and attach itself to that person. You release your spirit through letting your fears go. Rape of your self-esteem, boundaries, dignity, opinion and your power. Sexuality, whether or not you feel good about our sexuality. Shame! Everyone's approval, write down how many people you are addicted to for approval. Also the chakra of abortion, physically and as well as metaphysically. Promises that we have made to ourselves and to others, guilt about what could have been, should have done, to other people, that's abortion.

Victim and marriages, if in this lifetime you are under contract to get rid of the victim, this is the chakra, getting it out of your soul and you complete the journey of being victim not victor.

3rd CHAKRA -Solar Plexus, colour yellow.

Centre of self esteem, goes from tribe to yourself in relationship to one on one, to yourself in relationship to yourself. Anyone who has criticized you, insulted you, hurt you, you have marked their name on the inside of your cell tissue, it is registered in this part of the body. Anyone whose opinion you wanted. If we lost most of our power below the waist, then things like healing, creating events, takes more time to happen than when the marjority of your spirit wasn't in your energy field. Pull your soul back and your life will be so different, you'll look 10 years younger, and you won't be attaching yourself to the collective consciousness. Don't block your solar plexus, when talking to someone always stand up straight, and be aware of the conversation of sensing if any energy is being pulled out.

4th CHAKRA - Heart, colour green.

This is the center and first stage of self-hood and your own emotional feelings. Introduces the concept of individual love vs tribal loyalty. Our needs vs everybody else's needs. Forgiveness is the code you live by, it is the only way your spirit will come back into your body. We are ashamed of our own personal needs. Follow your heart. If your heart is not into your business do you think it will succeed? Forgiveness unplugs you from the past, so you have energy to move forward. Next step, calling the spirit back from the person who has harmed you. This is the chakra for judgement, judging gets you in the heart. Judging yourself is incredibly harming. Have you noticed after 30 seconds after a judgment you have a feeling of guilt. Breast cancer the inability to nurture yourself. Heart attacks. Deal with the past and let go also follow your heart forward.

5th CHAKRA - Throat, colour blue.

Will power and communications. Most difficult, highest act of will is to choose to do nothing when that choice comes from absolute trust. Majority of choices we make, we make when we are angry, or through fear. When you start being a vegetarian, praying(meditating) it changes your electro-magnetic fields. Very few of us have been disciplined over our free will, in relation to the outside world having authority over your inside world. In order to have a stronger authority over an illness, than it has over you, you have to build a relationship and make your inner world or your own spirit stronger on the inside. You have to learn inner power, destroy the virus, you have to train the inner energy, to conduct the thought.

It's having the faith when at that moment you don't know which way to go, to say, "I don't know what l'm doing, you (spirit ) do it. It's not my will, it's divine will." When we learn to trust the gods, creatures and spirit, the absolute, we release our will to a higher order of service, anything less than that is an act of doubt. Faith, trust and the divine love, are the ultimate acts of the 5th CHAKRA.

6th CHAKRA - Third Eye, colours are indigo/purple/violet.

Spiritual eye. This chakra is recognizing the difference between information and knowledge. Knowing love is a very strong healing power, this is where the rhyme of the mystic is introduced. It's this chakra that with all the spiritual teachings, this is where your guides teach you into believing in them and working with them. Begin listening, you might go and hear voices, seeing aura colours that the human eyes usually cannot see, seeing non-physical angels or guides. Respect your energy system, if it says I don't like the energy in that room, start respecting yourself enough to honor the signals that you're energy system is giving you. This top deck is intuition of the highest spiritual order. If your self-love and self- empowerment remains in the hands of other people, how can the creator/spirit give you higher inspiration if the first place you run to is everyone else for acknowledgment. Trust in what your intuition gives out.

7th CHAKRA- Above the Head, colour divine white light.

Commitment, the process of becoming whole, redefining all of our energy centres so that, rather than the first chakra being to the biological tribe, we are expanding it to be all of humanity. One with the human whole. That being spiritually loyal to something other than him or herself. That being environment, peace, nature, at some level consciousness that includes a larger than the whole.

What are you committed to here? Peace etc, holistic healing etc. Now meditate and see if it feels right and how your heart feels too. Helping cleanse the whole body and helping us to stay disease free. Reincarnation and past life is the seventh chakra, sends us to the places, people and learning that cost us part of our spirit, we have to return to that and take back our power.

A few deep breathes and visualize going down 10 steps. See a waterfall, and shower ourselves with white light, and swim in a pool of white light. Stand on rocks and place yourself and your field in a pillar of light coming from the source of divine light from above and connecting to Mother Earth. As this light flows through, image it nourishing, cleansing, soothing and feel the healing taking place. Call in Archangel Michael and his Archangels, for their help, presence, guidance, protection and support, also visualize him with his blue sword, swinging it around your body, clearing the field and cutting the ties of energies, entities, other forces, processes, we can say "beings that are not for my highest optimum benefit and do not belong in the field of energy at this point in time." Seal with electric blue light of protection.

Chakra Balancing

The chakras are portal or structures which help to channel and integrate subtle energy into the physical body. The body has 7 primary chakras but over 2,000 secondary ones which help to direct and hold the integrity of our 3 main elements – mind, body and spirit. Since the flow of this triad is always shifting, directed by our intent and consciousness, so too must the chakra system recalibrate and find new points of balance which each shift. In other words, just as our thinking, communication, perspectives and intentions change, so do the requirements of our chakra systems.

The chakra system deals mainly with subtle energy and so for the most part this energy is able to move through subtle shifts of tension within the physical body. With enough subtle tension however, the flow of energy will slow and even stop. The result is that the body, mind and emotions will begin receiving less and less information. Information will result in less understanding and less understanding will lead to less ability. Usually this does not happen in a dramatic way, it may take years, the same way that plumbing can take years to clog up and eventually block the flow of water.

Depending on which chakras are blocked or limited, the physical and mental consciousness will exhibit various manifestations… Blockages in the solar plexus for instance can result in a lack of will or strong intent to take action. This will be experienced in the body as a lessening of the bio-chemicals that create the sensation or emotion of will and purpose. Emotionally and mentally this will be experienced in corresponding mind states such as apathy or boredom. Blockages in the crown chakra will result in a disconnection from the Higher Self, as well as a difficulty connecting to the bigger picture in ones life. Just as with the solar plexus chakra, specific bio-chemicals will correspond to this particular blockage.

The link between the energy of the chakra and the bio-chemistry of the body is simply about information. There is nothing mysterious about it at all. Our whole being exists and survives because of information. There is information between the heart and the brain, information between organs and enzymes, hormones and blood, oxygen and lungs, as well as information from the outside world such as people, books, trees, the sun, the moon, gravity and electricity. Information is influence and expression, through connecting with this information a communication happens. This is the same communication that occurs between the energy of the chakras and the physical body.

The foundation ‘foot in the door’ principles to any type of chakra balancing should begin with simply spending time at the chakra location. Forget about what is written in books, references or even here for that matter. Nothing will compare to actual ‘sit down’ time with your own chakras. Its like spending time with a loved one, kids, friends and so on – we can go out and seek advanced knowledge and professional advice, but sometimes what is really needed is simply to spend time with them. It’s the same deal with the chakras. An amazing amount of communication will open up when we just listen and observe – and in this listening a great deal of balancing and integration will just happen. The results will be seen in the way the physical body feels, the mind thinks, the emotions move and the spirit flows through us.

Chakra Balancing and Healing- Guided Meditation

When I decided to approach the topic of the earth’s chakra points and write a piece about it, I believed it was going to be a very straightforward piece with clear-cut information and I found that assumption quite wrong. There are a few schools of thought about where the chakra points are located on the earth and how the entire ley-line system works as a whole.

The basic concept is that as the macrocosmic mirror to the human microcosm of the chakra system in the body, the earth, as a living being, possesses active energy centers that are consecutively aligned based on perspectives of consciousness, earth-organ equivalents, and vibrational states and exist in different sacred locations throughout the earth.

The most common way of looking at this concept from what I have found in my research is by overlaying a basic outline of the infinity symbol over the chakras4outstretched flat image of the world map; deriving from this basic geometry comes the more complex lines of connection between major vortex points and earth chakras which are the ley lines or song lines.

These would be akin to the energy meridian, acupuncture points, and nadis in the human body which are more numerous and secondary channels of energy that work in concert with the major centers of the chakras to disperse or circulate that energy.

Therefore, in the most popular viewpoint on earth chakras, each point is a super-powered point on the earth that serves as a central place of focus for the perspective of that chakra- for instance the heart chakra center on earth regulates the flow of energies on earth that allow the earth and its inhabitants to experience and relate through unconditional love and compassion whereas the root chakra of the earth would resonate with energies of life force itself, will to live, genesis, and so on. I found two differing ideas about where these specific locations were, yet interestingly both sets of points involve mostly the same locations on earth, except rearranged. Here are those two systems:

Robert Coon’s Earth Chakras System

Nearly all of the information readily available online that I was able to find regarding the earth’s chakra points seemed to be directly sourced from this one author- Robert Coon who owns a website called This site is fascinating and offers very in depth information about the chakras of the earth, the earth’s elemental vortices, ley lines and much more. Whether you take this information as theory or fact, it is fascinating food for though. In the system provided by Coon, the earth’s chakra points would be located throughout the earth as follows:

Root (1st) Chakra- Mt. Shasta, California. Red; Raw biological life force energy- precursor to deviation into individual life forms.

Sacral (2nd) Chakra- Lake Titicaca Peru (but also includes Machu Picchu). Orange; Creation of new species and positive evolution. Specification of pure life force into individuals.

Solar Plexus (3rd) Chakra- Uluru and Kata Tjuta Australia (twin monolithic sites). Golden/Yellow; Maintenance of the vitality of earth and all of its species. Immortalization of life force.

Heart (4th) Chakra- Glastonbury and Shaftesbury, England. Green/Pink; Representing the Holy Grail and the Sacred Spear of Purpose, Respectively.

Throat (5th) Chakra- Great Pyramid, Mt. Sinai, and Mt. of Olives, Middle East. Blue; Voice of the earth emerging, listening to the will of the earth needs to be mastered

Third Eye (6th) Chakra- Mobile Chakra, Shifts every 150-200 years, currently coincides with world heart chakra in Western Europe. Purple/Indigo; Moves 1/12th of the way around the world, westward, at the dawning of every new aeon. Distills gathered wisdom of life on earth for collective advancement of consciousness, aligned with astrological sequences.

Crown (7th) Chakra- Mt. Kailas, Himalayan Mountains, Tibet. White; Broadcasts the earth’s purpose or true will.

Reflecting on the Robert Coon System:

In the diagram above you can see a visual representation of the locations of earth’s chakra points as given by Robert Coon. Does anything visually strike you as a bit curious about this particular layout? I noticed that with this system the arrangement of the chakras seems to be quite random in the sense that there is no recognizable geometric reason to the way the chakra points are aligned. They seem scattered. This is bothersome because everything in creation flows geometrically within certain mathematic ratios and symmetries. The chakras in the human body are more or less equidistant from one another in a straight line going vertically up and down the spine as it moves through the center of the body. I feel that this one reason detracts a bit from the strength of this particular theory. It seems counterintuitive that the energy grid of the earth would be geometrically precise with the chakra points peppered randomly throughout.

Version 2 of the Ley Line System

I found that the other school of thought out there on this same system of thinking featured basically the same locations but some of them were attributed to different chakras than the system briefly described above. In this secondary explanation the Root chakra is found in Ulura Australia, the Sacral chakra is located in Lake Titicaca Peru also, the Solar Plexus is found in Mt. Fuji, Japan, the Heart chakra is in Haleakala Hawaii, the Throat Chakra is in Glastonbury England, the Third Eye chakra currently resides in The Himalayan Mountains, and the Crown Chakra, rather than the root chakra, is based in Mt. Shasta, California. This system was described by Bridget Nielson of who visited all these sacred sites for self-exploration and –confirmation. This perspective on the location of the chakras was also apparently re-confirmed by the well-known teacher of metaphysics, Bashar, as channeled by Darryl Anka. So which is it? They are both very compelling systems.

An Alternative Earth Chakra Theory

In my research I came across one last theory about where the chakra points reside and why. This one is much less widespread, but perhaps more logically satisfying and equally compelling. It is based on a direct comparison to the human energy system. There exists a toroidal field of energy around/interpenetrating the human form which pulls in and sends out energy in a self-sustaining current. In the middle of this energy field dynamic there is the central energy channel, along which the 7 main chakras are positioned vertically. Taking this layout and superimposing it on a spread-out map of the earth, based on the polarities of the north and south poles, this would put bands of color in correlation to the chakras striped from bottom to top going up the map in horizontal bands.

Within each horizontal color/chakra band, the geographical zones within it would be considered to fall under the resident chakra color in that location. In other words it creates a map of chakra zones as opposed to acute concentrated points. So it would roughly break down like this:

Russia would be the better part of the Root chakra/Sacral zone, parts of the Sacral and the Solar Plexus would mostly include the US, China, and Europe and the Middle East. The zones near the Equator would be the Heart chakra and would potentially include parts of India, a lot of Africa, Colombia, Peru and much of South and Central America and probably Hawaii. The Throat chakra zone would be South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and finally then the Third Eye territory and Crown Chakra areas would be the least populated and coldest areas like Antarctica and Greenland.

Intriguing Correlations

Just as the earth is laced with a complex interconnected map of energy lines, invisible to the naked eye, the pieces of information from various sources on the earth’s chakras are lighting up some intriguing connections that only add to the mystery.

For instance, with the first two earth-chakra theories discussed above, we saw that many of the same locations were included in both line-ups, yet as mentioned, they were arranged differently in each one. What I found to be of particular interest was that in only one of those systems was Hawaii included at all as an actual chakra point. Yet when I dove a little deeper into the Robert Coon material I found myself swimming in the depths of even more interesting insights.

Coon shares in his essays that the earth’s ley-line or energy grid system includes not only the chakra points but also a whole system of vortexes as well. According to coon, there are 4 major vortexes, similar to the chakra points in potency or significance. These four vortexes regulate or energize the four elements of life on our planet- earth, fire, water, and air, and guess what one of those locations is? Haleakala, Hawaii, the power point that was included in the other chakra list. Could it be that Haleakala is an undeniable power point of some kind that is perhaps being misinterpreted by one school of thought or one that is simply serving multiple purposes?

Certain other pieces of information regarding chakras and how they relate to consciousness also revealed interesting synchronicities. In the alternative earth chakra theory that I discussed last, the third chakra band contained a major percentage of earth’s current population and the countries and people groups found in the band were the US, China, much of Europe, and possibly the Middle East (keeping in mind that this particular theory is formative and it’s respective zones are approximations).

The connection here is that the third chakra is one of the chakras grouped into the lower three centers of consciousness in the chakra system of the human body. Lower meaning that they are physical body chakras governing primarily earth experience functions. The third chakra is the chakra of activity, opinion, intellect and the mental body. What could better describe the level of consciousness of these industrial nations? Think of the US, China, Europe: primarily male/yang, emotionally immature, caught in dogma and competition, thinking more than feeling, highly political, aggressive, and industrial- very third chakra.

It has also been written by clairvoyants that often the dominant color of the auric fields of Americans is yellow, the color of the sacral chakra. The indication being that a person experiencing life through the perspective of the third chakra is a person ‘living in their head’.

It also seems very fitting that the heart chakra band would include most of Africa, much of Central and South America and also perhaps Hawaii. The people and cultures native to these places, in general, feel more generous, earth- connected, and humble as a cultural norm than the people living in the cultures found in the sacral band.

Which Theory is Correct?

Which theory is the correct one? I truly can’t say. There is no consensus and nor is there any clear scientific treatment of this topic to help sort it out. It seems that each theory has some definite validity to it, or perhaps each one is completely valid in and of itself, but also an integral component to a complete idea that has not yet come together fully in a cohesive way. Perhaps also the constant shifting that is reportedly happening with earth’s magnetic fields and the poles could be causing confusion and affecting these dynamics.

In conclusion, I do not feel that there is any clear cut conclusion at this point. Rather it would seem that the significance to be taken from this discussion is the need to feel deeply into the energetic nature of the earth as living conscious being and to observe ourselves as microcosmic reflections of the great planetary body of which we are an expression. It would only make sense that if we operate from an energetic chakra system that is orderly, dynamic, and harmonic in nature, then the larger planetary body of which we are a part would form the greater basis that regulates such a system.

We can focus into and bring into resonance any of the chakra bodies from any point on the planet; this is a matter of clear intention. However, for those deeply drawn to or intrigued by one or all of these power points on the earth, there is certainly a great depth of mystery still waiting to be explored.
